Assessor

The Assessors office is the governmental agency responsible for establishing the value of property for tax purposes. It is our responsibility and goal to ensure that all values are fair and equitable and are assessed according to Connecticut State Statutes so that every property owner shares their appropriate share of the total property tax burden. This objective is accomplished by discovering, listing and valuing of all existing and new construction. In addition, we are also responsible for maintaining and granting tax saving exemptions for those who qualify.

           Tuesday  12pm  - 3pm.              Tuesday Evening   6pm   - 8pm  Thursday 9am   - 3pm      

      Street cards, maps and sales information will be available: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am to 3:00pm and Tuesday nights 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
