Building Department Responsibilities

The Building Safety and Inspections Office enforces regulations that concern all matters of construction, alterations, additions, repair, removal, demolition, and occupancy of all buildings and structures to ensure public safety, health, and welfare and adherence to the Connecticut State Building Code.

Documents & Applications can be left with the Selectman’s Office or Town Clerk Mon-Thu 8:30am - 3:00pm at the Town Hall or mailed to Town Hall, Building Department, 7 Meetinghouse Hill Rd., Franklin CT  06254.
